Cluster Munitions Implementation Legislation

In November 2010, Parliament tabled the “Criminal Code Amendment (Cluster Munitions Prohibition) Bill 2010” to implement Australia’s obligations under the Convention on Cluster Munitions. ALHR response to the Joint Standing Committee on Migration’s Report on its Inquiry into Migration Treatment of Disability, tabled 21 June 2010 report recommendations on the “health requirement” for visa applicants. ALHR made a submission to this inquiry on 19 July 2010.
