ALHR response to the Joint Standing Committee on Migration’s Report on its Inquiry into Migration Treatment of Disability, tabled 21 June 2010 report recommendations on the “health requirement” for visa applicants.

ALHR made a submission to this inquiry on 19 July 2010.

Australian Lawyers for Human Rights has identified deficiencies in the inquiry which the Commonwealth Attorney-General has set the Australian Law Reform Commission in relation to ‘traditional rights, freedoms and privileges’.
