We will be joined by esteemed panelists Hon Chris Evans, Catherine Eagle and John Southalan
About Our Panelists
Hon Chris Evans is CEO of the Global Freedom Network, an organisation working with governments to tackle modern slavery globally. Chris is a former state and Federal politician, including a former member of Federal Cabinet under the Rudd and Gillard governments.
Catherine Eagle is the Principal Solicitor of the Welfare Rights and Advocacy Service, a community legal centre that provides free and independent legal advice in relation to Centrelink, Family Assistance and Social Security prosecution matters.
John Southalan is a barrister and Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at the University of Western Australia. Since 1998, John has worked mainly on human rights and rule of law issues, and is particularly interested in the intersection between human rights law and mining.
