About Jonathan Struggles

Jonathan Struggles is a lawyer with many years of experience working on complex international investigations, prosecutions and legal cases covering criminal, human rights and environmental issues, including climate change. 

Working for Greenpeace International in Amsterdam Jonathan was involved in investigations and legal cases which sought to bring to light and end environmental harms worldwide.  Prior to this Jonathan worked at the United Nations International Criminal for the former Yugoslavia on various prosecutions including those of ex-Presidents and army generals.  He also worked in New York on the Volcker Oil-for-Food corruption investigation, and for the United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services.

Jonathan has a master’s in Environmental Law from Sydney University, and a master’s in International Studies from Durham University, UK.
